Multigenre Research Inquiring Vioices
When first begining to read this article I though the idea of Multigenre Research Paper, which compiles different types of writing, creativity and investigation sound like it may be alot of juggle all at once. Yes it were done well it would deffinately be an interesting research paper. The article then suggested that we read professional examples of MRP to understand the concept more thoroughly. This is deffinatley something I would be interested in. I think it would be very helpful because I have never been exposed to anything like this that I am aware of. I also though the ten steps to writing a succussful MRP would come in handy when begining to write the paper. It seems like such an overwhelming task yet when brocken down you can attack one step at a time.

homework 3/6
The question i will be pursuing for my research is "Who is at teh roote of a social movement, the government or the people?" I chose this topic because when brought up in class it truly interested me. I decided I wanted to find out more about it for myself. I plan to research whether it is the efforts of activits and/ or lobbyists that essentially cause change or does the goverment choose to change when they feel it to be convenient?
Sources: "A Reconceptualization of the Dynamics of Social Movement Development" by Harry H. Hiller, this article appears to address the topic I am looking at in a similar but not exactly same view. I wanted to start by first researching how a social movement actually occurss. Hiller breaks it down into stages that a movemnt usually goes through in its life span. While reading this article I realized I would have to research specific movements to use examples throughout my paper. I plan to speak on a more general level and then narrow it down so I can focus on a few examples.
